1. Affiliate and compensation disclosure
If that changes, this is how it will work:
- Next to every affiliate link or code, this line will appear: “Ad: We earn a commission if you buy through this link or code, at no extra cost to you.”
- At the top of every page or email that has one, this banner will appear: “Disclosure: This page contains affiliate links. If you buy a firm’s evaluation using our link or code, we may be paid a commission by that firm. That payment is a financial relationship and could bias our coverage. We show the same fee and rule data for firms whether or not they pay us.”
- Where a firm requires its own wording (for example “[Firm] Partner. We’re paid by [Firm] when you use our code.”), that wording will be used as well.
- Firms that pay PropFeeDecoder will be listed here with the commission basis (a percentage, not dollar amounts).
Firms that pay PropFeeDecoder: none. There are no affiliate links or codes on this site today.
2. Simulated and hypothetical results
Prop-firm evaluations and funded accounts are simulated. Payouts are paid by the firm from its own funds, not from exchange trading.
These results are based on simulated or hypothetical performance results that have certain inherent limitations. Unlike the results shown in an actual performance record, these results do not represent actual trading. Also, because these trades have not actually been executed, these results may have under-or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated or hypothetical trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to these being shown.
This statement is placed next to the calculator’s results as well. Calculator outputs are arithmetic on numbers you enter, not trading results.
3. Not advice; education only
This is general education and information about prop-firm costs and rules. It is not investment, trading, tax or legal advice, and not a recommendation to buy or sell any futures contract or to buy any firm’s product. We do not know your finances. Futures trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. Decisions are yours; consider a licensed professional.
No guarantees. Most traders do not pass evaluations or receive payouts. We do not claim any trader will make money, and nothing on this site is an earnings claim.
4. Not brokers; independence; trademarks
Most proprietary-trading evaluation firms are not brokers and are not registered with the CFTC or NFA as a result of selling evaluations. Check registration at cftc.gov/check and NFA BASIC (nfa.futures.org/basicnet).
PropFeeDecoder is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Topstep, Apex Trader Funding, Tradeify, Earn2Trade, Take Profit Trader, MyFundedFutures or any other firm named. All trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the firms. PropFeeDecoder is also not a broker, a commodity trading advisor or a prop firm, and does not hold anyone’s money.
We are not registered as an investment adviser, commodity trading advisor or introducing broker.
5. Published statistics
Most traders do not pass evaluations or receive payouts. Where this site shows a firm’s pass or payout percentage, it shows the firm’s own figure with its period and a source link (for example, Topstep: 16.8% of Combines passed in 2025; Tradeify: 17.2% of evaluation accounts passed from August 2025 to July 2026). Those are the firms’ own figures, they are not independently audited, and they do not predict your results. A figure from a third-party site is labelled as third-party.
6. Calculator and guides
Estimates only. Fees, rules, splits and promotions change often and may not apply to your account; confirm everything on the firm’s own site before paying. The calculator’s data was read from the firms’ pages on 2026-10-28 (25K to 150K where a firm offers them; 75K is Take Profit Trader only). Each number carries a label: official means we read it on the firm’s own page; third-party means we saw it only on another site; unverified means it is an assumption, unconfirmed or in conflict. Unverified numbers are shown as such, never as fact. Outputs are your own inputs run through arithmetic, not a forecast, and not advice. Inputs such as pass rate, discount and number of resets are your assumptions, not predictions. The change log lists dated changes.
The guides carry their own disclosure block and sources. They use hypothetical arithmetic only.
7. Reader stories (if ever used)
Reader results may not be representative of other people’s experience and are no guarantee of future performance or success. Any paid testimonial would be disclosed. There are none on this site.
