Independent. Transparent. Built on real numbers.

Know what prop firm evaluations really cost.

PropFeeCheck shows futures traders the true cost of getting funded: evaluation fees, resets, activation fees and monthly subscriptions. What you’ll actually spend, not just the advertised price.

We’re independent. We’re not a prop firm. We don’t sell evaluations, funded accounts or trading signals. Just the numbers.

Why we built this

The sticker price is rarely what you end up paying. Resets, activation fees and monthly rebills add up fast. PropFeeCheck totals them for you, so you can decide with your eyes open.

We’ve traded evaluations at Take Profit Trader, Tradeify and Topstep ourselves.

Topstep 50K: sticker price vs. true cost

Sticker price
$49/month
Total fees to get funded
$198
Profit to break even
$220

Passing in the first month, plus the $149 activation fee. You keep 90% of profits, so you need $220 to take home $198. Prices from Topstep’s own site, read 2026-10-28. Example arithmetic, not a trading result. Disclosures.

How many traders pass and get paid

In short: at these firms, fewer than 1 in 5 evaluation accounts passed, and about 2 in 3 (Topstep) to 7 in 10 (Tradeify) funded traders never got a payout. These are the firms’ own numbers, not audited, and not a prediction for you.
